Flex RN - Float Pool

7:00pm‑7:30am; includes rotating weekends and holidays. Flex nurses work approximately 24 hours per week, with the ability to flex up or down 12 hours per week. Call is required. Flex nurses receive health and dental benefits comparable to 30‑hour nurses. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 payable after 90 days for qualified external applicants.

The Registered Nurse provides patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation). The RN directs and coordinates care for patients, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and achieves desired patient outcomes. Duties span Medical/Surgical Units, Emergency Department, Critical Care, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center. The RN must be willing to work in any department as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN – Massachusetts).
• AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• De‑escalation training required within 60 days of hire or transfer.

• One year of medical/surgical nursing experience required.

• Excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Additional unit‑specific education and experience requirements outlined in the Addendum for each unit.
