RN - Surgical Day Care

About This Role

The Registered Nurse in Surgical Day Care is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in a collaborative environment and are committed to achieving effective patient outcomes.

• Pay: $42.19 - $72.88/Hourly
• Location: Northampton, MA
• Facility: Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc.
• Schedule: Part-Time, Day shift
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 payable after your first 90 days for qualified external candidates

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
• Perform skilled management of patients during the preoperative and postoperative period.
• Be on call as required.

Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, or bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience: 1 to 3 years of medical/surgical experience required; 1 year of critical care experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts required;
Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position; PALS or ENPC required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position
