Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring a traveling LPN for a VNA home care role requiring home care experience, an active MA LPN license, and AHA BLS certification for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts.

Job Details

• Home health / visiting nurse association (VNA) setting providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes,

• Works within an interdisciplinary team alongside RNs, PTs, OTs, and home health aides (HHAs),

• Provides 6 patient visits per day,

• Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with a 1-in-4 weekend rotation and one required weekend shift per month,

• Uses Epic for charting,

• Time keeping via UKG/Kronos,

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts LPN license required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted,

• License required if applicable - both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing licenses,

• Home care experience required,

• Current BLS certification required - AHA only;
Red Cross, CHSF, and Military BLS are not accepted for this location,

• Flu vaccination required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted,

• 2 professional references required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Performs skilled nursing functions in accordance with the MA Nurse Practice Act, federal, state, and local laws, and within the scope of the LPN license,

• Delivers patient care as delegated by the RN Case Manager and/or Clinical Team Manager,

• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be placed at a reduced rate,

• No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public parking rates range from $17-$22 daily, and public transportation is recommended,
