About This Role

Mass General Brigham's Flex RN - Critical Care position involves delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in critical care environments and are flexible with their schedules.

• Pay: $42.19 - $72.88/Hourly
• Location: Northampton, MA
• Facility: Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc.
• Schedule: Part-Time, Rotating
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 payable after your first 90 days for qualified external applicants.

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
• Monitor and interpret rhythms for patients with critical or life‑threatening illnesses.
• Provide care for patients who are incubated and/or receiving mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic statuses and those receiving peritoneal dialysis.
• Recognize and assist patients in shock or those with other life‑threatening complications.
• Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions and the insertion of temporary pacemakers.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: Critical Care experience preferred

  Certifications:
  
  Current RN License in Massachusetts required;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
