About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for those who excel in a fast‑paced surgical environment and are committed to patient advocacy.

• Pay: $42.19 - $72.88/Hourly
• Location: Northampton, MA
• Facility: Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc.
• Schedule: Full‑Time, Day shift

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines for effective patient care.
• Function as a Circulating Nurse and advocate for anesthetized patients.
• Provide safe and effective care to surgical patients.
• Meet physiologic and functional needs of patients.

• Education:
  • Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience:
  
  1 to 3 years Operating Room experience
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer
  • PALS or ENPC required within 3 months of hire or transfer
