About This Role

The Registered Nurse in Critical Care is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in managing patients with critical or life‐threatening illnesses.

  • Schedule: Part‑Time, Day shift
  • Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500 Sign On Bonus payable after your first 90 days for qualified external applicants.
What You’ll Do
  • Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
  • Monitor and interpret rhythms for patients with critical or life‑threatening illnesses.
  • Provide care for patients who are incubated and/or receiving mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients’ hemodynamic statuses and those receiving peritoneal dialysis.
  • Recognize and assist patients in shock or those with other life‑threatening complications.
  • Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions.
  • Assist with the insertion of temporary pacemakers.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience: Critical Care experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

  • Current RN License in Massachusetts required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
