RN - Operating Room, per diem

About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process and acts as a patient advocate for anesthetized patients. This per diem role is ideal for nurses with Operating Room experience who are looking to provide safe and effective care in a dynamic environment.

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Perform the role of Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Provide safe and effective care to the surgical patient while meeting their physiologic and functional needs.

Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor s Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience: 1 to 3 years Operating Room experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position
• PALS or ENPC required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position
