About This Role
The Triage RN in Family Medicine at Mass General Brigham is responsible for providing patient care and support in an outpatient setting. This role is ideal for a compassionate nurse who excels in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
Highlights- Pay: $36.87 - $50.76/Hourly
- Location: Northampton, MA
- Facility: Mass General Brigham Medical Group Western Massachusetts, Inc.
- Department/Unit: Family Medicine
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
- Remote Type: Hybrid
- Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
Certifications:
- Current RN License in Massachusetts required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
