RN - Medical Infusion, per diem

About This Role

The Medical Infusion Center Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in coordinating care and collaborating with other professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Pay: $42.19 - $72.88/Hourly
• Location: Northampton, MA
• Facility: Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc.
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Successfully complete education and demonstrate clinical competence for the practice of Therapeutic Phlebotomy within 3 months of hire.
• Administer chemotherapy.
• Perform port access skills.
• Demonstrate excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

Education:

• Other Certificate/Diploma Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience:

• One year Medical/Surgical experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required
• Basic Life Support - required
