Southfields Care home Rated GOOD by CQC provides exceptional levels of support to older persons living with Dementia, Physical disabilities or/or Sensory impairments. Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, it offers a wonderful living environment in which residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of dementia and residential care.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check. We’re looking for someone friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about creating a great dining experience for our residents.

Support our cook with planning, preparing, and serving tasty, nutritious meals that brighten our residents’ day.

Keep our kitchen and dining areas clean, organised, and welcoming, helping us maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.

Assist with stock checks and ordering, making sure we always have the essentials ready for mealtimes.

Working 10.5 hours per week to include alternate weekends. Working between 8am – 6pm. The post includes regular term‑time working, and may occasionally offer additional hours to provide holiday or sickness cover, depending on service needs.

Unfortunately, this role does not meet the legal requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. We may close this vacancy early, if we receive sufficient applications for the role early.
