Key Responsibilities
We will train you to work towards:
- Installation of electrical systems and components on various emergency service vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and carry out electrical repairs to a high standard.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and internal specifications.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Interpret technical build instructions and wiring diagrams.
Salary – Minimum wage with increase once training portfolio is completed
Holiday – 28 Days Per annum
Hours of work – 08:45 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
Requirements Skills & Experience- Keen to learn
- An interest in vehicles
- Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems.
Full internal training will be provided. After training, you will be expected to:
- Work confidently and independently.
- Communicate effectively and contribute within a team.
- Use a variety of tools and electrical test equipment.
- Understand wiring terminations, including connectors, terminals, soldering and other products.
- Carry out professional electrical installations of aftermarket products.
Mawsley EVS Ltd is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Police Warning Equipment (PWE) Technician. This hands‑on role involves the installation, diagnostics, and maintenance of electrical systems in emergency service vehicles. You will work with a range of blue and amber light vehicles, fitting components such as harnesses, lightbars, communication systems, and other specialist equipment.
All installations and repairs must meet high-quality standards and be completed within set time frames.
