Salary: Starting from £12.21 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Wootton, Northampton, NN4

Hours: Full days, flexible 4 days a week

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Wooldale Nursery. Bright Horizons Wooldale Nursery is located in the village of Wootton in Northampton. The nursery is proudly Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and offers great transport links with it being just off of the A45 and close to Junction 15 on the M1. Regular bus routes operate nearby and the nursery offers on-site parking.

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
