Children’s residential support worker

This is a full-time, on-site Children's Residential Support Worker role located in Northampton. The individual will provide support and guidance to children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and personal development. Key responsibilities include delivering day-to-day care, building positive relationships with the children, facilitating activities, implementing safeguarding protocols, and effectively communicating with team members and external parties.

• Experience as a Support Worker and strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with children.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, colleagues, and external contacts.
• Ability to implement technical support measures relevant to residential care environments.
• A caring, empathetic, and flexible approach, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Formal training or certification in child care, psychology, or social work is advantageous.
