We are looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Housekeeper to join the team at Sedgebrook Hall. You will play a vital role in ensuring our guest bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, helping to create a welcoming and comfortable stay for every guest. Housekeeper – Zero Hours

The Role
  • Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards
  • Change bed linen, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost property promptly
  • Ensure all rooms are prepared and inspected within required time frames
  • Follow health & safety and COSHH procedures at all times
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen
  • Support deep cleaning schedules and periodic tasks
  • Deliver friendly and professional service when interacting with guests
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and wider hotel team
  • Adhere to security procedures and safeguard guest property
Essential Experience, Skills and Behaviours
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (hotel experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Physically able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing
  • Positive attitude with a flexible approach to shifts, including weekends
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Friendly and approachable with a guest‑focused mindset
  • Basic understanding of health & safety procedures
