Location:
Northampton
Salary: £34,000 – £48,000 basic (DOE)
OTE: £55,000 – £65,000+
Hours:
Monday – Friday (Saturday / overtime available)
The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established commercial dealership in Northampton for an experienced LCV Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing workshop with strong earning potential and consistent workflow.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles to manufacturer and DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and returned to customers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicing and maintenance of vans and light commercial vehicles
* Diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & electrical)
* Major mechanical repairs including clutches, engines and gearboxes
* Brake, suspension and steering repairs
* Completing vehicle inspections and health checks
* Working to productivity and efficiency targets
* Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
About You
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Proven LCV / Van Technician experience
* Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
* MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7 desirable)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
