Overview:

First Military Recruitment is partnering with a client in Northampton to find a skilled Auto Electrician. Ex-military candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, though all qualified professionals are welcome.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Wiring and maintaining electrical systems on commercial vehicles.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on new and older vehicles.
Conducting routine electrical maintenance and function checks.
Attending vehicle breakdowns when required.
Assisting field engineers with technical expertise.
Coordinating with the parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered.
Completing job cards, timesheets, and other vehicle documentation accurately.
Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and organization.
Prioritizing workload effectively to meet deadlines.
Following health and safety guidelines and adopting safe working methods.
Performing additional tasks as required to support the team and company growth.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong engineering background with a focus on vehicles
Passion for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work.
Solid electrician experience, ideally with relevant qualifications.
Full UK driving licence.
Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
