CSCS Groundworkers

We are looking for three highly skilled and reliable Ground workers for an immediate start on a large-scale industrial concrete plant project based in Wellingborough. This is a fast‑paced environment requiring operatives who can hit the ground running and work as a tight unit.

You will be covering all aspects of groundworks, with a heavy focus on the robust civil engineering required for an industrial concrete facility. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

• Deep drainage, pipe laying, and installing service ducts.
• Setting up for heavy civil works, including shuttering, formwork, and reinforcement (rebar) tying.
• Preparing foundations, slab preparation, and assisting with large‑scale concrete pours and finishing.
• Kerb laying, edgings, flagging, and finishing trades.
• Working safely alongside heavy plant machinery (excavators, dumpers) in a busy industrial zone.

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential - Blue Skilled Worker preferred).
• Proven experience:
  
  must have a strong background in all aspects of groundworks, specifically on commercial or industrial civils projects.
• Tools & PPE: must have your own standard hand tools and full orange/yellow high‑vis PPE suitable for a major civils site.
• References: must be able to provide two checkable work references demonstrating your groundworks capability.
