We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading specialists in the design, installation and maintenance of playgrounds and outdoor play environment.

Trainee Maintenance Technician

Head office in Northampton (national coverage)

Monday to Friday working general day hours

£26,000 - £28,000 (depending on construction or labouring experience)

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Own transport to commute to the company headquarters each day
• Comfortable travelling throughout the UK as part of the role
• Willing to stay away from home overnight when required
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

You’ll work alongside experienced team members carrying out inspections, maintenance and repair work on playground equipment and safety surfacing across the UK. No two days are the same. One day you could be carrying out inspections at a local school, the next you could be travelling to a large installation project elsewhere in the country.

• Inspect playground equipment and identify maintenance requirements
• Carry out repairs to timber, metal and play equipment
• Assist with installations, surfacing works and general groundworks
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Complete inspection reports and maintenance documentation
• Maintain high standards of health and safety
• Represent miracle design & play professionally on customer sites

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

• Good communication skills
• Professional and presentable manner

• Happy travelling throughout the UK when required
