Vehicle Technician Great Billing, Northamptonshire From £45,000 depending on skills and experience Full Time – 37 Hours Per Week | Monday to Friday Flexible Working Opportunities Available We’re searching for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and highly respected operation maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles and plant equipment. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles and plant Diagnosing faults and completing preventative maintenance Ensuring vehicles meet Department of Transport standards Reducing equipment downtime and supporting fleet performance Completing service reports and raising work orders using fleet systems Ordering parts and managing maintenance records digitally Working safely and always following all Health & Safety procedures What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
City & Guilds qualification in Light & Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Proven experience working on commercial vehicles and plant machinery Good computer literacy and experience with fleet management systems Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to make practical, cost-effective maintenance decisions A strong understanding of safety and environmental responsibilities What’s In It for You?
