Forklift Engineer (Mobile & Site) – Nationwide Opportunities

£36,000 - £43,000 + Overtime (1.5x) + Company Van + Career Progression

• £36,000 - £43,000 basic salary

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Conduct LOLER inspections and ensure all equipment meets compliance standards
• Complete thorough safety checks and pre‑delivery inspections (PDI)
• Carry out breakdowns and reactive maintenance, minimising customer downtime
• Manage own workload and service schedule effectively (mobile roles)
• Accurately complete service reports, job sheets and compliance documentation
• Liaise with parts departments to ensure correct parts are ordered and fitted
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Provide a high level of customer service, representing the business professionally at all times

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability
• Experience or knowledge of LOLER inspections (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Full UK driving licence (for mobile roles)
• A professional, reliable and customer‑focused attitude
