Electrical Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – UK (mainly England)

You will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites across the UK, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

• Install, commission, service and fault‑find equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Complete service reports, commissioning records and site documentation.
• Work safely and comply with RAMS, permit systems and HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Coordinate site activities with project and support teams.
• Support urgent customer call‑outs when required.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, vehicles and spare parts.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional service.
• Share feedback to support continuous improvement.

• Experience in field service, installation, commissioning or maintenance within an engineering environment.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience interpreting technical documentation and procedures.
• Good understanding of safe systems of work and risk management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

• Electrical, networking or engineering qualifications.
• Experience with ticketing systems or engineering software.
• Utilities, energy or industrial sector experience.
• Knowledge of HV or LV or both monitoring equipment or similar technologies.
