Field Service Engineer

Overview

Exciting career opportunity as a Field Service Engineer at Linde Material Handling in Northamptonshire, NN postcode.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Travel to a variety of customer locations, typically within an average attendance of 30 minutes.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional support.
• Log service activities and use IT systems for accurate record‑keeping.

• Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter or a related role.
• Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, though not essential.
• Comfortable using IT equipment for records, orders and diagnostics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

• Competitive salary based on experience.
• Choice of 40‑hour or 45‑hour working week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
