We're recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Van Technician looking for a stable, permanent position with competitive pay, regular working hours and excellent opportunities for technical development.
You'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and compliant with industry standards.

The Role
As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for:

· Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.

· Servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles.

· Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT inspections.

· Diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.

· Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.

· Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

· Completing all required paperwork and job documentation accurately.

· Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the workshop.

· Following all Health & Safety procedures and company standards.

· Working as part of a professional team to minimise vehicle downtime.

About You
We're looking for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

· Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

· Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles / vans.

· Strong diagnostic skills are essential.

· Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability.

· Experience with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.

· Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

· A reliable and professional approach to work.

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
One in two Saturdays
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a consistent daytime working pattern.
