Mobile Plant Fitter Northampton £17- £18.50ph Overtime paid at 1.5x, 42.5 hour week, van with door to door pay and personal use, 23 days holiday plus banks, pension scheme, holiday scheme and more Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team in Northampton. This role involves working on a wide range of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, loading shovels, excavators, and more.

Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of heavy plant machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults. Ensure all machinery is maintained to the highest standards to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate service records and complete necessary documentation.

Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site. Travel to various locations in and around Northampton to carry out mobile repairs and servicing. Qualifications A valid CSCS card or NVQ in Plant Maintenance is essential. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively. Full UK driving license. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Day-to-Day Start your day by reviewing scheduled maintenance and repair tasks. Travel to client sites in a fully equipped company van to carry out servicing and repairs. Diagnose and resolve machinery issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Communicate with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with completed work.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the company van. Complete and submit service reports and documentation promptly. Benefits Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 - £18.50 per hour. Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the standard rate.
