HGV Mechanic

Brook Street Recruitment is currently working on behalf of our client in Mallusk to recruit a permanent, full-time HGV Mechanic / Technician. Due to continued business growth and increased demand, our client is seeking proactive and skilled HGV Technicians to join their expanding team. Previous heavy goods vehicle experience is preferred; however, applications are also welcomed from experienced van, car, or commercial trailer technicians who demonstrate the right attitude and a willingness to broaden their skills.

Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles to a high standard Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools Ensure all warranty procedures are followed during and after repairs Maintain workshop facilities, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and organised condition Complete all service and repair documentation accurately and within required time frames Criteria Qualified to Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent recognised qualification Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team LGV/HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential Salary Competitive salary package, negotiable depending on experience and skill set.
