Position: Curtain & Blind Installer
We are recruiting for a Curtain & Blind Installer to join a well-established manufacturing and installation business with a long-standing reputation for quality and customer service.

This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance and repair of specialist curtains, curtain tracking systems and blinds across a variety of customer sites. Projects range from minor repairs through to large-scale installations within environments such as healthcare facilities, educational establishments, commercial buildings and construction projects.

Working as part of an experienced fitting team, you will travel to customer locations, ensure installations are completed to a high standard, and provide excellent customer service while on site.

Location of Office:
Central Northampton

Location of Work Site:
Across the following counties – Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire.

+ occasional work elsewhere anywhere in the UK – overnight stays may be required.

Salary: £33,000 per annum + paid overtime for weekend work

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent

Hours:

Monday to Friday, typically starting between 5am and 6am, with finish times around 3pm, sometimes up to 5pm depending on project requirements. Occasional Saturday work required.

Key Responsibilities

Installing curtains, blinds and tracking systems at customer premises

Carrying out repairs, maintenance and replacement works

Reading and following installation instructions and site requirements

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

Ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Communicating professionally with customers and site personnel

Travelling to sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays when required
What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence

Experience using hand-held tools

Practical, hands-on experience in a fitting, installation, maintenance, construction, trades or similar role

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Good customer-facing and communication skills

Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home overnight

Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays when required
Previous curtain and blind installation experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training can be provided for candidates with the right practical skills and attitude. Valid CSCS card would be beneficial.
