We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join our newly established, modern commercial vehicle workshop in Wellingborough. This is a permanent night-shift opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician seeking excellent facilities, ongoing training and genuine career progression.

Circa £20 per hour, dependent on experience, plus shift allowance
Permanent night shift: 22:00–06:30

Duties:
As an HGV Technician you will carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and other commercial vehicles
Diagnose faults and complete repairs in line with DVSA standards
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and general workshop duties
Identify worn or faulty components accurately
Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs when required
Complete service records, warranty documentation and other relevant paperwork
Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and stock control
Work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team Requirements:
Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar commercial vehicle maintenance role
Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repair, such as NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence;
Class 1 entitlement is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work safely and accurately in accordance with DVSA standards
MOT Licence is beneficial but not essential
A professional approach to quality, safety and teamwork
