Full-Time Support Staff
Reporting to the Supervisor, Residence Services, the Residence Clerk will be responsible for providing customer service, guidance, assistance, and ongoing front desk administration and support that enriches the residents’ experiences in Residence.
- Answer general inquiries
- Accurately sort and process daily resident mail
- Track service provisions
- Offer and merchandise products within a tuck shop
- Accurately maintain front desk cash floats and follow institutional finance processes for deposits
- Assist with copying, printing and emailing of resident and professional staff documents
- Collect various reports/forms submitted by residents throughout all academic semesters
- Provide support to the Residence Life, Residence Maintenance and Summer Accommodations teams
- Assist with the residence admissions process
- Assist with other projects relating to occupancy management when needed
The successful candidate must hold a relevant two-year college diploma combined with one year of related work experience.
Salary and BenefitsThe target hiring range for this position is $22.75 to $24.25 per hour, with the ability to progress to a maximum rate of $28.77 per hour. Placement within the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
A comprehensive group benefits and pension plan is offered, as well as a tuition subsidy for eligible dependents.
