We are currently looking for a Camping Services Administrative Coordinator to join our team of committed professionals. This Full Time, Contact position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Chippewa location in North Bay.
Under the leadership of the Health and Wellness Administrative Supervisor, the Camping Services Administrative Coordinator provides exceptional customer service to camper families, alumni, volunteers, and community partners. This job is also responsible for assisting in marketing and communication operations, as well as offering administrative support to the Director of John Island Camp and the Senior Manager of Member Experience.

RATE OF PAY: $19.23
HOURS: 40/week
Major Responsibilities
- Support all online, in person, and phone registrations
- Collect and analyze financial support applications
- Make decisions on financial support given to families
- Ensure that all registration follow ups and paperwork is complete and filed/organized prior to session
- Answer camp phones and return inquiries in less than 48 business hours
- Compile, organize, and complete the necessary mail outs of information and promotional material
- Maintain and support keeping current the website Facebook and social media pages for camps
- Direct parent concerns or problems for camper experiences/administrative difficulties to the appropriate camp staff
- Coordinate events, information sessions, and prepare slideshows and materials
- Follow-up on overdue accounts
- Invoice for school programs, special events and rental groups
- Prepare/send camper lists and bus pick up/drop off lists to the Camp Directors
- Provide hands on support as needed at pick up and drop off of campers in Sudbury
Qualifications
- Possession of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
* for education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES with their application - Minimum of one (1) year of customer service or related experience
- Experience working with money and credit cards
- Experience with Avocado Registration system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bilingualism in both official languages an asset
- Current and satisfactory Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
