Salary | $17.60

Schedule | Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm

Kid Strong Kleinburg is looking for energetic and caring Camp Counsellors who love working with kids and have a strong interest in fitness, coaching, or child development. Our ideal candidates enjoy creating a fun, active environment and feel confident leading groups of children ages 4 to 9 years.

• Lead daily camp activities, games, and structured programming based on Kid Strong principles
• Create an engaging, encouraging environment where all kids feel supported
• Help guide children through physical activities while keeping safety and proper form in mind
• Communicate clearly with parents and provide daily updates when needed
• Work closely with the leadership team, coaches and other counsellors to keep camp running smoothly
• Support a positive camp culture by maintaining structure, routine, and behaviour expectations
• Follow all Kid Strong policies and safety procedures

• Experience working with young children in a camp, coaching, teaching, or recreation setting
• Background in athletics, fitness, early childhood education, or pediatric OT/PT is an asset
• Comfortable leading active games and group activities
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, confident presence
• Able to work well independently and on a team
• Comfortable in a busy, high-energy, physical environment

• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Flexibility based on camp programming needs

• Standard First Aid & CPR-C
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Kid Strong training and onboarding (provided after hire)
• High Five - Principles of Healthy Child Development (not required, but an asset)
