Explore your next role:

The Sr. Director, Finance provides enterprise-level financial leadership in support of the organization’s strategic, operational, and growth objectives. This position is accountable for financial governance, accounting integrity, treasury, risk management, controls, finance transformation, and senior-level stewardship of the finance function, including leadership of the migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and financial support for strategic growth of Voyageur. Enterprise Financial Strategy, Governance & Executive Leadership

  • Set the overall financial governance framework, financial policy direction, control environment, and enterprise finance priorities in alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth priorities.
  • Serve as the senior financial advisor to the President and executive leadership on financial risk, stewardship, capital allocation, treasury, controls, compliance, and enterprise financial implications of strategic decisions.
  • Provide senior oversight of accounting, financial reporting integrity, treasury, internal controls, tax, audit, and corporate finance activities.
  • Partner with the Senior Director, Financial Planning, Analysis and Operational Excellence to ensure budgeting, long-range planning, monthly analysis, business partnering, and decision support are aligned with enterprise financial governance and corporate requirements.
  • Act as a key interface with corporate finance, external auditors, financial institutions, insurers, tax advisors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders on matters affecting financial performance, compliance, risk, and governance.
  • Build financial discipline, transparency, and accountability across the organization through strong controls, effective governance, clear communication, and leadership of the finance function.
Financial Reporting, Accounting Operations & Controls
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements, reconciliations, tax filings, statutory reporting, and corporate reporting submissions.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, delegations of authority, internal controls, and governance practices across finance activities.
  • Lead external audit, internal audit, tax, insurance, banking, and compliance activities, ensuring audit readiness and timely resolution of findings or control gaps.
