Permanent Human Resources Administrator - HRIS & Process Improvement

The Near North District School Board is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and process‑focused HR professional to join our Human Resources team as the HR Administrator –HRIS & Process Improvement. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resournces, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, streamlining processes, and ensuring high data quality. You will lead the optimization of our HR systems and workflows, strengthen HR data integrity, and support the Board’s HR modernization strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary administrator and functional lead for the HRIS (K212 HRP)
- Support the integration and optimisation of systems such as Easy Connect (ATS and absence replace system), Parklane (disability case management) and other related HR platforms and systems
- Improve HR processes related to hiring, onboarding, employee changes, leaves, return‑to‑work, and terminations
- Lead data integrity initiatives, including audits, clean-up, exception reporting, and standardization
- Develop and deliver HR data and operational reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators
- Provide role‑based HRIS training, tools, and resources to HR team members
- Support documentation and standardization of workflows, processes, and checklists
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiencies across HR functions
- Liaise with Payroll, Finance, Information Technology, and system vendors to resolve issues and optimize system use
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or ability to obtain is an asset
- 3‑5 years of experience with HRIS administration (experience with K212 HRP is an asset)
- Demonstrated experience improving HR processes and building workflows
- Strong analytical and technical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and database / reporting tools
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, data security, and professional discretion at all times
- Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to explain systems to non‑technical users
Hours of Work: 35 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
Annual Salary: $81,263.00
