Skilled Pipefitter

Position: Skilled Pipefitter for Ontario Northland
Bring your expertise to Ontario Northland as a Pipefitter/Plumber at our North Bay facility. This position focuses on plumbing system installation, repair, and maintenance, with an emphasis on safety and craftsmanship.

As a Pipefitter/Plumber, you will independently manage high- and low-pressure pipeline systems and perform essential repairs on pumps and airbrake systems. Your ability to read blueprints, along with your technical proficiency in welding, will be crucial to your success in this role. Experience in a unionized environment is beneficial and will align with our operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain plumbing and airbrake systems

• Plan and fabricate pipeline systems effectively

• Operate pipe fitting tools and equipment

• Adapt to new methods and safety protocols

• Complete additional pipe fitting duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Qualification as Plumber 306A or Pipefitter 307A

• Experience in unionized workplaces

• Safety code knowledge in plumbing

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
