Dalcon Constructors Ltd is hiring Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipe fitters in Cobalt, Ontario. Work on significant projects while earning competitive pay and gaining invaluable experience.
Join our dedicated team at Dalcon and support various projects across Eastern and Northern Ontario. Applicants should hold a valid trade ticket or an active apprenticeship. Candidates will need skills in municipal water/wastewater systems, hoisting, and hydrotesting to succeed in this hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute pipe fitting tasks following safety processes
• Perform municipal water/wastewater installations and connections
• Operate construction equipment applicable to projects
• Communicate direction accurately for task completion
• Work outdoors effectively in varying weather
Requirements:
• Valid Pipefitter trade or active apprenticeship required
• Strong communication skills necessary
• Ability to perform physical lifting up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Experience on mine sites is considered an asset
