HVAC Journeyman Technician at Black & McDonald

Join Black & McDonald as an experienced HVAC Journeyman Technician in Northern Ontario. Utilize your skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will be part of a dedicated team within Black & McDonald’s Facility Services Division, bringing your 3+ years of HVAC experience to maintain and repair complex systems. You'll perform routine maintenance, complete work orders, and handle refrigerants while working collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine predictive maintenance on HVAC systems

• Complete work orders and deficiency reports promptly

• Install and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration systems

• Test systems for leaks and repair as necessary

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

Requirements:

• Valid 313A refrigeration certificate

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician

• Valid G1 Certification and ‘G’ Driver’s license

• Ozone Depletion Prevention Certificate

• Experience with BAS systems is a plus
