Starting Date: Immediately
Position OverviewSt. Bernadette School is seeking a part‑time Teaching Assistant to join our ECC team. The TA will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching elementary‑aged children and a deep sense of purpose in shaping their hearts and minds in partnership with families.
Responsibilities- Support curriculum lessons covering the core subject areas of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Instruct and instill the habits of mind necessary for academic success.
- Model and encourage student growth in Catholic virtues.
- Deliver lessons in an engaging and joyful manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to encourage student learning and character formation.
- Build rapport and communicate effectively with families to provide feedback on student progress.
- Certification in Early Childhood Education is recommended.
- Commitment to refining the craft of teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Ability to model a love of learning and a love of Christ.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
