Matec Instrument Companies, a leader in ultrasonic imaging systems, is searching for a talented Welder to join our team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in manufacturing the custom systems used by aerospace, military, railroads, and metals industry giants.

What You’ll Do:

• Craft the backbone of our systems:
  You will interpret blueprints and weld precision frames and components using MIG & TIG welding for mild and stainless steel.
• Be a master of setup:
  Using your skills and various measuring devices and tools, you will layout, position, and secure parts for welds.
• Ensure top quality:
  You will cut raw materials to exact specifications and operate power tools, guaranteeing your welds meet the standards our customers expect.
• Teamwork:
  You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the timely delivery of our systems.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

• 3-7 years of hands‑on MIG & TIG welding and fabrication experience
• Completion of vocational or technical training a plus
• Ability to pass testing requirements per AWS D1.1 & D1.6.
• Analytical mind with a knack for solving problems
• Self‑starter who thrives in both independent and team settings
• Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
• US Citizenship/Permanent Residency Required
