As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Northborough, MA

Pay Rate: $21.33 / Hour

Day Time Fri
11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat
11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, helping to support restricted area control and orderly movement throughout the property.
  • Assist with routine security-related reporting, note taking, and follow-up on observed issues, policy concerns, and/or maintenance-related conditions encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
