Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail – Northborough, MA. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

Part Time

$21.33 / Hour

• Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, helping to support restricted area control and orderly movement throughout the property.
• Assist with routine security‑related reporting, note taking, and follow‑up on observed issues, policy concerns, and/or maintenance‑related conditions encountered during patrols.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
