Amazon seeks Transportation Area Managers to work throughout the country. The role focuses on safety, quality, customer experience and productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis of problem areas
- Streamline logistics through implementation of standard work and team leadership
- Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
You and your team of Transportation Associates are responsible for ensuring Amazon customers receive their orders. Responsibilities include training, addressing needs, supporting, mentoring and motivating the hourly workforce; managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises; and leading change at high speed.
Basic Qualifications- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
