Looking for a hands‑on job where you can stay active and build a skillset? We’re hiring a Lumber Picker to join our production team. You’ll go through a structured 30‑day training program with a mentor, learning how to pull materials, support production, and operate equipment safely.
This is a physical, fast‑paced role that plays a key part in keeping production moving across the plant.
If you like working with your hands and being part of a team, this is a strong opportunity to get started and grow.
What You’ll Do- Pull and stage lumber based on production needs and cut lists
- Read and follow basic work orders and material lists
- Load, move, and organize materials across the plant
- Operate forklifts and equipment (training provided if needed)
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Work with your team to keep production running efficiently
- Overtime opportunities available

Requirements What You Bring- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically active environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team‑first attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- No prior truss experience required — training provided
- Forklift experience, especially with lumber or building materials
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or production environment
- Basic understanding of measurements and material handling
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in all seasons
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
