Senior Tax Associate – HNW

Busy season looming over us has a funny way of clarifying things.

Maybe you've already buckled in because you genuinely like where you work… if you haven't and you've start thinking there has to be a better way to do public accounting than this, this firm exists for people like you.

They’re a 150-person, single-office CPA firm that’s been independent for 75 years. No PE, no mergers, no constant change and it shows in how long people stay. It’s genuinely unusual for them to lose someone to another CPA firm.

This is a newly created role within their High Net-Worth, Trusts & Estates group, and they’re hiring now because the work is there and they’re turning clients away, not because someone burned out and left.

• Trusts, estates and gift work
• Start to have client ownership, even at the staff level

Busy season averages around 55 hours. There’s a lighter August–October mini-season capped closer to 40–45, and summers are genuinely calmer, with:

• A compressed 4-day week option between Memorial Day and Labor Day
• Flex on when extra hours are done

They’re onsite during busy season, hybrid the rest of the year, and flexible around hours, especially if you’ve got a longer commute.

CPA isn’t required. What matters is a couple of years of tax experience and at least 1 years exposure to trust work.
