Accounting Associate

• Client Insight: Learn client business needs, control systems, and industry-specific GAAP/GAAS issues.
• Assurance Services: Assist with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
• Audit Support: Perform substantive testing, examine financial statements, and review internal control procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Documentation: Create organized, accurate, and clear work papers to support engagement findings.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns or information filings for various clients.
• Client Communication: Collaborate with clients and the LLG team to gather necessary financial documents and information.

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of prior public accounting experience; CPA license or CPA candidacy is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial field.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate complex data.

  Proficiency in Quick Books (Desktop/Online), MS Office (Excel/Word);
  Experience with Case Ware and Data Snipper is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, team collaboration skills, and discreet handling of confidential data.
