As our Senior Architect in Payments, you will lead the way in defining our payment technology strategy. This is critical in ensuring we maintain exceptional customer experiences while meeting the demands of a rapidly changing market.

In this dynamic position, you will:

• Lead architectural decisions for payment processing platforms, including real-time transaction processing and intelligent routing.
• Define and implement microservices architecture with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Evaluate and recommend payment technology vendors, platforms, and third-party integrations.
• Architect secure payment solutions, focusing on fraud detection and encryption.
• Develop architecture to support multi-channel payment acceptance (online, mobile, in-store, etc.).
• Design real-time payment monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Create integration patterns for payment service providers, banks, and financial systems.
• Mentor development teams on payment domain knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders on new payment features.
• Work with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for payment systems.

Your expertise and experience will be invaluable. We’re looking for candidates who have:

• A deep knowledge of the payment ecosystem, including major networks and regulatory bodies.
• Expertise in various payment methods and the platforms that support them.
• A solid understanding of payment industry standards (like PCI DSS, EMV).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and API design.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as .NET or Python.

• An understanding of Dev Ops practices and containerization.
• A background in payment security strategies.
• Familiarity with emerging payment regulations and financial reporting requirements.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on payment systems.
• 3+ years in senior architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience with high-volume, mission-critical payment processing systems.
