Financial Consultant, Corporate Finance
Hilco Enterprise Valuation Services is a fast‑growing division of Hilco Valuation Services. Our Disputes and Investigations practice provides case assessment, complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, damages formulation, investigative services, forensic accounting, and expert witness testimony in a variety of financial and legal matters. The Director will work with staff in support of senior professionals and lead projects in forensic accounting, valuation, and financial investigations.
This position offers an opportunity to leverage analytical, project‑management, and leadership abilities to ensure successful project completion while upholding the highest standards of integrity and client service.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate leadership by managing teams preparing expert analysis and serving as point of contact for external clients and internal team members.
- Provide quality consulting services to attorneys, general counsel, and boards of directors to ensure the end product supports thorough and grounded expert financial opinions.
- Lead expert analysis projects in finance, forensic accounting, investigation, valuation, or other relevant fields and deliver written and quantitative work product.
- Create financial models, cash‑flow analysis, and business‑related valuations as required.
- Develop new revenue opportunities by leveraging relationships and supporting revenue‑generating activities of the Hilco team.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through industry events, continuing education programs (CLE and CPE), or other outreach.
- Promote a culture of respect, transparency, and excellence by providing mentorship and career development opportunities.
- 10+ years in financial analysis, expert services, valuation, forensic accounting, or related experience.
- Proven business‑development work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; advanced degrees and professional certifications are encouraged.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Energetic and passionate team player.
- Close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks without supervision while meeting client deadlines.
- Strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience providing expert analysis and deliverable work product in finance, accounting, or valuation.
- Leadership experience managing expert‑analysis teams and serving as point of contact for clients.
- Financial modeling, cash‑flow analysis, and valuation skills.
- Review of internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports.
Salary Range (Illinois): $200,000–$225,000. Base salary does not include discretionary bonus or other compensation.
