Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist (Registered Behavior Technician - RBT) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans in an in-home setting developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote positive behavior change and skill development.
Location & AvailabilityABA Therapist (Registered Behavior Technician - RBT) In-Home Sessions ( Evening Availability, Typically 4-7pm) Northbrook and surrounding Northshore suburbs
Responsibilities- Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with clients based on individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress during therapy sessions.
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with families and other members of the treatment team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Willingness to get a Registered Behavior Technician certification within 30 days of hire (we'll help!).
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes or other locations as needed.
