Personal Assistant / Driver (Caregiving)

Amada Senior Care Northshore is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant / Driver to provide essential care and transportation services to our senior clients. This role supports daily living activities, promotes safety, and enhances quality of life for those we serve.

As a caregiver and driver, you will assist clients with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. You will also provide safe transportation to appointments and run errands, ensuring clients’ comfort and well‑being.

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Escort clients to medical appointments and run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client health status.
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in senior or assisted living care.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to operate safely within a vehicle and comply with traffic laws.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidential client care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in meal preparation for special dietary needs.
• Experience in managing challenging behaviors and emergency situations.
• Background in child care, social work, or related fields is a plus.

• 4‑hour or 8‑hour shifts.
• Day, morning, or on‑call shifts.
• Monday to Friday and rotating weekends.
• Weekends as needed.

• Valid  Social Security Card.
• 1 year of caregiving experience or equivalent.
• Driver's license (preference).
• Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
• In‑person work location.

$16.50 – $18.00 per hour
