Technical Test Lead – SOA testing and web service test automation

We are seeking a Technical Test Lead for a full-time position in Northbrook, IL.

Role: Technical Test Lead – SOA testing and web service test automation

Duration: Full-time

Location: Northbrook, IL

Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with IT

Preferred:

• At least 4 years of experience in SOA testing and web service test automation using tools such as Soap UI, CA Dev Test
• Strong JAVA coding skills with minimum of 3 years of development experience and Java Scripting/Groovy Scripting experience
• Experience in API Test Automation and Framework Development
• Experience in Service Virtualization will be an added advantage
• Experience with reusable business services (WSDL and XML schemas)
• At least 2 years of experience in UI Automation using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, UFT
• Automate API and UI test scripts to support a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline
• At least 2 years of experience in Performance Testing at UI and Web Services Layer using tools such as HP PC (VuGen Scripting and Reporting), Jmeter
• Analyzing Performance metrics and reporting the bottlenecks along with improvement recommendations
• At least 4 years of experience in Test Strategizing, design, test execution analysis & reporting.
• Hands-on experience in Agile BDD/TDD
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
• Good communication and Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Experience with the Insurance domain (desirable)
