As the Senior Architect, Payments, you'll be at the forefront of designing and evolving our enterprise payment systems architecture. This critical position is key to driving our payment technology strategy while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance. Your work will directly contribute to delivering exceptional experiences for our customers.

• Lead architectural decisions for our payment processing platforms, ensuring real-time transaction processing and intelligent routing.
• Implement microservices architecture patterns that prioritize scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Evaluate and recommend payment technology vendors and third-party integrations.
• Design secure payment solutions, including innovative fraud detection and encryption measures.
• Architect a robust multi-channel payment acceptance strategy (online, mobile, in-store, etc.).
• Develop real-time payment monitoring, alerting, and reporting capabilities.
• Mentor development teams on payment domain knowledge and architectural principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payment features.
• Work closely with Dev Ops on deployment strategies for our payment systems.

• In-depth knowledge of the payment ecosystem, including major networks like Visa and Mastercard.
• Expertise with various payment methods (cards, digital wallets, BNPL) and supporting platforms.
• Strong grasp of payment industry standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, EMV, PCI DSS).
• Experience with leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and payment-specific services.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and API design.
• Familiarity with programming languages like .NET and Python.
• Understanding of databases (SQL, No
  
  SQL) and distributed systems.
• Insight into Dev Ops practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
• A background in payment security and operational strategies.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years focused on payment systems.
• 3+ years in senior architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience with high-volume, mission-critical payment processing systems.

Minimum Starting Rate: $ Annually

Up to: $ Annually

Pay ranges may be adjusted in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Additionally, based on your role, you may be eligible for bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives.
