Purchasing Assistant

Responsibilities Assist in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.

Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and resolve any issues related to orders.

Support the purchasing team in analyzing market trends and supplier performance.

Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices in accordance with company policies.

Collaborate with other departments to forecast purchasing needs and manage inventory effectively.

Participate in vendor evaluations and assist in supplier selection processes.

Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with purchasing software.

Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
